Fall and Winter Fashions for Retailers

As a retailer do you ever wonder what is going to sell this year? First you must look at what is being manufactured in the production countries, China and India. Working for one of the top wholesalers in the United States, here is my top list of products coming out of China this fall for the fashion industry.

Animal fur is making a comeback this fall. Anything made from mink to rabbit fur is definitely a good seller for this fall season. Animal fur products such as shawls, scarves, hats and gloves will be in demand. These items will not come cheap, you will pay high prices for the real fur items. Be aware of fake furs being sold as real ones at a high price.

Necklaces, earrings, and bracelets made from genuine water buffalo horn is the latest craze coming out of China. This jewelry is considered organic and safe to the environment. No animals were harmed from the making of this jewelry.

Animal print handbags are being mass produced. Beautifully jewelled large sized fashion handbags in leopard print to cow print are a must this season.

Anything associated with animals will be a good choice for this fall and winter's fashion!

Fast Fashion Facts

Flashback! Nearly four decades back - lifestyle fashion stores were all the frenzy in the sixties where clothing retailers like Biba and Habitat offered great collection for the young consumers. They displayed model lifestyles lines and made buyers think "which one is better for me?" Most clothing retailers joined the league for the up and coming era of seventies like Marks & Spencer and Mothercare followed by the major player ‘Next’ in the eighties, which were largely preferred.

Meanwhile, the major Italian player ‘Benetton’ marched on high street with, offering colorful designer clothing for the whole family. Their strategy resulted affirmative with noticeably contemporary window showcase in all stores with independent units. The company was successful in Britain, however, having a long standing in the market, they witnessed failure to keep up pace with the accelerated high fashion pressure by the other European competitors, which are now the known as Mango, H&M and Zara.

The rise of these competitors on high street has been witness successful because of a higher demand for fast fashion. Styles showed in magazines and other advertorials are what people wish to wear. Top designers have created collection extensions, which cater people who can afford to spend their hard earned cash on triple figure. This resulted success to the affordable collection of European fashion brands

A Swedish player, H&M offered readymade clothing stores – stocked with fashionable collection at reasonable costs. Its successful strategy was its own slogan ‘fashion & quality at the best price’ innovative design, reasonably priced and competent logistics. Based in Stockholm, a team of 100 fashion designers assures that nothing has been imitated from the runway platforms. They are mostly inspired from street-trends, movies, magazines and exhibitions. Impressively, the designs reach retail shelves within 2-3 weeks. H&M’s high profile designer tie-ups with Karl Lagerfield and Stella McCartney have resulted entire collections available to the mass people at lower prices. This strategy is supported by huge advertising campaigns, which easily compete with the major brands.

In a world of advertisements and promotions, there is one store that has made strategy to not to spend penny on advertising, “Zara”, a wing of Europe's biggest, rapidly evolving and most triumphant fashion clothing retailers, Grupo Inditex. Other well popular stores in similar chain are Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Pull and Bear. Inditex operates business via more than two thousand stores in 56 countries. The first Zara shop was launched in 1975 at La Coruna, Galicia and at present it operates more than four hundred owned stores globally. In the previous five years they have witnessed sales up by 25 percent year on year.

Zara runs its own design and production unit in La Coruna, Spain, which leads cancellation of the large out-sourcing operations, like H&M does in over nine hundred firms. It is modern, offering up-to-date lifestyle yet standard clothing lines for men, women and children. Zara offers reasonably priced, radical clothing, however, not of the top quality, which will last only for some seasons.

As same as Zara, H&M can also put designs on retail shelves within three weeks. Its product assortment is cheap and small yet frequent, offering consumers huge selection that results repeated visits to their stores to find “What’s New”. Hitherto, Zara has launched over ten thousand new designs and most of these will just be attainable for few weeks.

Another Spanish player, Mango is a reputed multinational brand devoted to designing, producing and selling fast fashion and accessories only for women. Its clothing line includes Suit, Casual Sport, and Mng Jeans. It might not be as huge as H&M or Grupo Inditex, but has played excellent particularly in the UK.

No shopping malls resemble absolute with exclusive of these three brands. The pace of these companies in responding to changing consumer demands is an ideal proof to the retailing, producing and logistics skills needed in latest fashion industry. These new strategies are set up to develop aptitude to take advantage of the challenges of a competitive world market.

Besides the diversification in product assortments there is one thing common in all these brands that is “intelligent logistics”. Well-organized communication between sales staff directly to the headquarters and producers lead them to match steps with high speed turnover.

The fact is that buyers are becoming preference savvy and smarter in order to what they shop. Even though they always have their preferred designer, they are also acquainted that a throwaway piece of fast fashion from a retail chain store will complete their outfit choices. At so reasonably priced all of these retail perceptions play on Friday nights when people feels they have nothing to wear.

Bead Earrings - Get The Drop On Fashion On These Pretty Bead Beauties

Bead earrings are a fashionable and fun way to accessorize your outfit. What started as a crafting idea has blossomed into a wide variety of fun and fashionable earrings. You can buy or make funky earrings to express your personality, or more expensive bead earrings are available with beads, gold, and crystals coming together to form pretty designs.

You can find basic bead earrings, which consist of three or more beads forming the dangly part of the earrings, as well as more fancy earrings, which add crystals, twists in the wire, or even feathers. The different designs allow you to match your outfit or your mood to your accessories. These can be popular with belly dancers or others who wear beads on their clothing, as they can match their earrings to the beads on their clothes or even their belly button ring. More retro beads or styles can complete your 60’s or 70’s style outfit.

Bead earrings are available online on many craft sites, at accessory stores, or you can go hunting at local craft fairs for bead earrings and other beaded jewelry straight from the crafter’s hands. Another great place to find original earrings that are made from beads is bug markets. There you can find some one of a kind design that no one else will be fair.

It can also be fun to make your own bead earrings. Bead earrings are an easy project to start and finish, with instructions and ideas available online and in many craft books. With wire, beads, wire cutters and pliers, you can make your own designs and show off your artistic talent. Earring backs and basic earrings that you can add beads to are available at most craft stores along with beading supplies.

Make your own dangly or polished bead earrings. Bead earrings can be made with a variety of beads, including seed beads, chevron beads, fire polished beads or shaped hematite beads, for a few examples. You can find hearts, stars, and even penguins. Use twists and curls in the wire to add flare to your design.

While you are busy making a few pairs for yourself, why not think about making some for friends and family? People absolutely love receiving handmade gifts and for any woman who wears earrings, they will simply love the idea of having a pair that you made just for them.

For those who were not there the time to take up a new hobby, bead earrings can be custom designed for you by many crafters. Be sure that the crafter uses good quality materials, so that your bead earrings will stay looking nice and to stop problems with reaction to certain materials.

Bead earrings are a fun way to add color and variety to your clothes, whether you make them yourself, order a custom design, or buy someone else’s design. Making them is a fun hobby for many people, so there are many creative designs available.

Heated Clothing for Winter Comfort

Most people think of heated clothing as an accessory for outdoorsmen or motorcyclists. No more! Heated clothing is moving into the mainstream as new technology makes it accessible and useful for everyone.

No doubt that heated clothing like gloves, boot liners, and vests will remain popular with anyone doing outdoor activities like camping, fishing, or hunting, but many people are learning about the practicality of wearing heated clothing in and around the home.

Home owners can wear heated clothing to keep comfortable while saving on utility bills. Turn that heat down and stay warm with a battery powered vest or kidney belt.

Office workers can also benefit from the latest wave of heated clothes. Many businesses are trying to save money by reducing their heating cost, and this can mean misery for their workers. Luckily, there is a broad range of clothing to increase your comfort level at work.

A heated vest, for example, can be worn under a sweater or shirt. Most models have two functions – they provide insulation to keep body heat in while providing a heated surface that keeps the skin warm.

Computer operators can also wear heated fingerless gloves. These allow you to type on the keyboard while keeping your hands toasty and warm.

Most heated clothing is powered with rechargeable batteries, but some can use alternative energy sources. The gloves mentioned above, for example, can take their power from the USB port of the computer. Don’t forget to unplug when you’re finished your work!

Lithium ion rechargeable batteries are a popular choice for heated clothing. They operate for about 3 to 4 hours on a single charge, and are cheap enough to have a spare on hand. That way you can re-charge one batter while using the other for non-stop winter comfort!

So don’t suffer in the cold – take back the winter! Get yourself some heated clothing and start enjoying the winter weather.

Fabulous Celebrity Hair Styles You'll Love

Celebrity hair styles are glamorous, but how do you find the one that's right for you. One approach, is to bring a picture or pictures of the celebrity you have in mind to your stylist. Generally speaking a long narrow face is well suited to a wide style, while a round face will look better with a soft textured style. A good criteria to narrow your search is length, is your hair short medium or long. Curly, straight, or wavy are other factors to consider. The stylist can probably provide additional advice based on the picture and your own features. Be sure the stylist understands the amount of time you devote to your hair care. Celeberties may have a stylist at their beck and call, but all us regular folk have real jobs and lives to attend to.

Blondes Do Have More Fun . . . Really?

Are all those blondes really blond. Is it really worth all the time and effort trying to keep up with those dark roots. Just think of all those blonde wannabes with with all the dry damaged hair from too many dye jobs. There are plenty of celebrity hair styles that are truly great looking, but not blonde. Why not find one that's almost your hair color, and just go with it.

Celebrity Beauties

What is it that makes celebrity hair styles so coveted by so many? Is it their their glamorous life styles, the characters they portray in movies and tv, or just their radiant beauty, that attracts us so? Whatever the reason, at the very least it's a great starting place for a new look. After all, they do have the best in the business tweaking and fussing over their flowing locks. Just try to remember, that having the hair of the bold and beautiful won't make you an instant movie star, but it can make you a better looking you.

Boldness is Beautiful

Be bold when making your choice. Go for tantalizing curls like Halle Berry. Does Angelina Jolie seem more your style, with her sleek, romantic, timeless look. Maybe a younger look like Keira Knightley. Her crop is chic, and fun with a slight hint of danger spiced in. Surprise your friends and family with the new bold you. And while your at it, you may even surprise yourself. Who knows who will notice

Masculine Fashion With a Men's Cashmere Scarf

Many men tend to wear clothes that have a functional purpose. That is, they may desire to be fashionable but often they choose clothes that are designed to do a job (cover, protect, keep warm, etc.). Many men's clothes were designed in this way for many years, leaving little room for fashion sensibilities... especially on the job. Today's man, though, has many more options and men's fashion is a growing industry allowing for men to look great and enjoy functionality in their clothes.

One item that should be in the fashionable man's wardrobe is the mens cashmere scarf. While the stereotype might be that real men don't wear scarves, the reality is that it can be cold and men need to stay healthy and warm no matter what the weather. The result? Gorgeous scarves that look great on men.

Mens cashmere scarves come in vivid but subdued colors and stick fairly closely to the basic color groups. No periwinkle blue or azure. Instead, there will be various shades of blues, greens, reds, oranges, and yellows... but all fairly safe. After all, there simply isn't the variety of color in men's clothes that there are in women's clothes. And mens scarves fit the bill.

If you are man buying a mens cashmere scarf for yourself or you are a woman thinking about buying a scarf for your man, how do you know what to get? One benefit of the man's wardrobe - especially the business suit - is that they so often come in black or dark blue. And many colors work well with both.

Avoid any mens scarves that are shiny or shimmery or have fringes. Instead, stick with bold but subdued colors that are solid, without fringes, and are in a soft, non-reflective material. Cashmere, pashmina, and wool are great looking scarves to get... very difficult to go wrong.

If you do get mens scarves that are patterned, find ones that are not pattered with too large of a pattern: a very small check or a thin stripe will do the trick nicely. Because these scarves are primarily only worn outdoors (unlike women's scarves which can be typically worn indoors or outdoors, depending on the kind of scarf it is), you don't have to do a lot of matching because these scarves will often be worn with a fairly plain, usually dark colored coat.

Here are some great combinations to consider:

...Pair a long, thin white or off white scarf with a leather jacket for the world war one fighter pilot look.

...If you're wearing a long wool trench coat, find a tightly knit scarf or a pashmina scarf in a forest green. It looks great. If the trench coat is black, as so many of them are, mens scarves in orange, or red also look fantastic. These scarves should not be too long.

Fashion For Less: 3 Ways To Look Great For Less

Your fashion style defines you. Think about a trip to the mall. You see hundreds of people that you don't know. But, what is your first impression of them? For example, let's say a lady walks toward you wearing a very nice blazer and suit set. She has her hair and make up done and looks good. You think she's a professional. If someone walks towards you in jeans that are baggy and she is wearing a dull tshirt, hair pulled back and no makeup, what do you think? Not the same thing although you have no idea who each of them is. Fashion defines you but that doesn't mean it has to make you broke.

To help you to look put together and great, consider these three tips to help you to do it for much less.

1. Purchase clothing with plans for it. Don't head out and purchase an outfit that can only go together. Instead, purchase clothing that is interchangeable. A white tank that can work under a blazer jacket, with a pair of slacks with a pattern or can be worn with a cute skirt in your closet will allow you to do more and get more looks for less.

2. Always purchase for quality over name brands. Most of us have no idea what an Armani suit looks like in comparison to another brand. What we see and notice is the quality of the material and the way that it fits your body. Instead of looking for name brands, consider clothing that is well made that will look great and last a lifetime.

3. Some things never go out of style. That cute little black dress, the dressy slacks with a pleat and the standard skirt are just a few examples. Have these in your closet and use them. But, make them stand out. Make sure you select items that will cause a punch of color or will enhance the way something else looks. If you go for all trendy clothing, you'll have to replace it every season. If you have a few pieces that are good old stand bys, you can purchase just a couple of pieces each season and still look amazing in your fashion sense.

What is your style? What fashion tip can you bring to the table that will have you looking great, feeling amazing and saving money? There are many ways that you can have it all!

Classic French Clothing is Becoming Ever More Popular

The French have long been renowned for their classic clothing, with a style which is recognised all over the world. This unique style has developed over the ages, but managed to retain that traditional French feel and look.

Paris has long been recognised as one of the major fashion centres of Europe, with many of the high profile fashion shows held in the capital city. While usually associated with the more adult end of the fashion world, the French designers are starting to have an impact in the younger market.

The designers have adapted the more traditional French style to encompass the new born and young children's end of the market, with great success. As fashions change, many people are returning to the more traditional look for their new born and younger family members, with French designs among the more popular.

The younger designs are both practicable and fashionable, and can be split into two main seasons , Summer and Winter wear.

Summer Range

The Summer range is personified by bright, colourful and fairly lightweight garments, perfect for the hot summer period. It is essential that your children are comfortable in the sometimes difficult summer days, while also offering a degree of protection from the sun.

Winter Range

The Winter range takes on a more traditional style of dark, heavy colours with thicker garments offering protection from the cold winter chill. This distinct range allows your child to look fashionable, while ensuring that they are warm and protected from the elements.

Picture Pocketbook is Not Just Books

Pictures, pictures; it is definitely everywhere. You can see it when you're reading the daily newspaper, magazines, or when you're driving on the road. You can find a lot of them in your own home, or in your room.

When you say pocketbook, the first thing that comes into your mind is a book, in pocket size. But that is no longer true these days.

Pictures have been used for many different ways but one thing that most people, especially women, have discovered is its use in bag designs. Other people are also finding unique ways to use their photos and turn them into pocketbook covers.

The picture pocketbook that is referred to in this article is not the actual pocketbook itself, but it is all about the different bag designs with pictures incorporated in it and other photo design uses.

There are different bag models referred to as picture pocketbooks because it contains picture on both the front and back sides. It is one special feature of some picture handbags and petite bags.

Picture pocketbook handbags are just like any other photo bag, only that it has photo on both sides. Most commonly, photo bags have pictures only on the front side, and that is probably how the name turned out to be.

Most manufacturers already have a complete line of different picture handbags in their store or website, but you still have one option. And that option is to design your very own bag. You are made to choose a picture to incorporate into the bag. Send the picture to them and wait for more than two weeks for the bag delivery.

However, if you can find one that catches your interest, than you can buy it. There are a lot of designs to choose from, there are dog picture pocketbooks, cats' picture pocketbooks, and many more.

Aside from picture-pocketbook bag designs, many people are playing with what the digital technology can actually do. If you have special collections that you want compiled, like you and your loved ones favorite songs, stamp collections, or any other typical collection which requires a specific cover, you can turn it into a picture pocketbook. All you have to do is to select a picture, and it will be instantly transferred to the pocketbook, making it its new cover. What a good way to customize such personal items.

If you still want to know more about picture pocketbooks, there are a lot of search engines available on the net that can give you your needed information. If you are seeking for professional help, it would be a lot easier to find one on the net. Doing business with the use of the internet has made different transactions a lot easier and more convenient for most individuals.

Because of the fast improvements in technology, people are now enjoying the many benefits it brings. And to think that ordinary 'pictures' were also subject to great amount of changes.

Sedu Hairstyles Of The Rich And Not So Famous

Sedu hairstyles allow those who are not so famous to sport a hairstyle just as good as the famous and in some instances better. The sedu system of hair management is a people leveler.

A recent study clearly concluded that we in fact do judge a book by its cover. Hairstyles play a significant role in our preconceptions of the people we meet.

We consider those who have long flowing hair to be secure and independent people. We just love putting labels on people. Those with short hair are deemed to be intelligent but a bit insecure.

Sedu has come along and pointed us back in the right direction. Sedu hairstyles can be worn by the insecure as well as the secure. The outgoing as well as the retiring individual.

Studies have shown that our women go all out for that special look. They lead the way in splurging over $7billion a year on hairstyles and related products. The sedu hairstyles have literally stormed into our lives. Sedu has also cornered more than their fair share of the market.

The sedu flat iron is made up of a gemstone called tourmaline. It is a beautiful gem that conducts heat well. The flat iron heats up in a swift 30 seconds. Sedu actually cuts in half the time it would normally take to flat press your hair.

The sedu’s extremely light weight also helps cut into flat pressing time. Additionally, its tight user-friendly design helps cut time further. The unbeatable advantage of the sedu tourmaline flat press straightener is that it can be used in the home.

You do not have to trek to the beauty salon whenever you want your hair ‘done.’ You can have loads of fun creating your own sedu hairstyles. The purchase of a sedu tourmaline straightener is truly an investment and not a cost.

Buying a Handbag: Five Things You Need To Know Before Purchase

The handbag can make the difference between fab and drab. The right one brightens up an otherwise boring outfit while the wrong one makes even the hottest ensemble look rather plain. The handbag has such a great impact on your overall look, so I've put together the following style tips as a reminder before buying your next handbag:

Tip # 1 BODY TYPE: Does it look good on me? A handbag whose shape is the opposite of your body type suits you best. If you're petite and curvy, get one that's long and slim. The contrast between your body type and the handbag's shape provides a balance in your look. If you get one that's the same shape as your body, you'll just put more emphasis on your problem areas. Your big parts will look bigger while your small parts will seem even smaller. That's definitely the last thing you need. If you're not sure if a handbag looks good on you, make use of all the mirrors found in the store. If you are ordering online, check for a money back guarantee. Only reputable online stores have one.

Tip # 2 COMFORT: Is it easy to use? Real style is effortless...or at least, appears to be. You need to look relaxed while looking glamorous to be a true fashionista. If you're handbag brings you discomfort, it will show, and you'll just look like you're trying too hard to be stylish. That's a fashion faux pas! The next time you go shopping, pay attention not only on the design but on the materials used. Online shops are great in this aspect because they provide a lot of pictures of their products from various angles. They also list the important details on a handbag like its dimensions and materials. Such practice is not commonly done in regular stores.

Tip # 3 TREND: How long will it be in style? Some styles of handbags come and go, while others stick around and become classics. It's great to be able to keep up with trends but your handbag collection should have more of the timeless designs than of fleeting fads. If classics bore you too much, you can prettify them with scarves or chains. Classics are usually more versatile because they can go from serious to sassy with just a few accents.

Tip #4 SPACE: Will my things fit in it? If a handbag is fit to burst when you put your knick-knacks in it, move on to the next bigger sizes. A handbag may have a gorgeous design but if its shape gets deformed because of its contents, its appeal will surely lose a lot of points. Just think of a duffel-style handbag that ends up looking like a sausage because it's crammed full. It's not going to look pretty. On the contrary, if you don't have too much stuff to carry, choose a small handbag. Some large ones look limp when they don't have enough filling to support their shapes.

Tip # 5 BUDGET: Can I afford it? Not everyone can afford authentic Louis Vuitton, but everyone can have a stylish handbag without blowing the budget. Just have a bit of patience to look in vintage stores, factory outlets, and department stores. If you want to stand out with a unique yet affordable handbag, check out an online shop like Siam Sensibilities (http://www.siamsensibilities.com). They sell beautiful handmade handbags made from Thailand’s indigenous materials at budget-friendly prices. You can’t easily find them in stores so you won’t have to worry about going to a party and seeing five other women toting the same handbag as yours. Of course, nothing beats the excellent quality that a hefty price tag can bring. If it's something you'll be using regularly, it's okay to splurge on a high-end designer handbag. Just make sure that you're really getting what you're paying for. Check to see if you still have enough money to pay this month's rent, too.

The Manufacture of Women's Pajamas

A pajama is a Hindi word which signifies leg clothing. It originated from India during the 1880's where the first users were men. Instead of using nightshirts, men were using their pajamas when sleeping. Pajamas which can either be a one-piece (pants only) or two-piece (having a shirt and pants) are an outfit covering the legs while nightshirts are long shirts which are extended up to the knee. Now, pajama manufacturers also created a different version of pajamas for women.

Women pajamas are more of a fashion statement for women of the new era. North American young females are wearing pajama pants even in public to express their tastes in fashion. Chinese also publicly wear pajamas around their neighborhood. The use of pajamas is even incorporated in some television shows making it more popular.

However, the idea of using it never changed over the years. Still, it is used for lounging or sleeping purposes.

There are different varieties of women pajamas made of softer material like cotton (particularly flannel) or a luxurious material such as satin or silk and are created with loose fitting designs. These materials are very important because women are often very sensitive and meticulous. The manufacturers ensures that this areas are given due importance so that women are comfortable during their sleep.

- Flannel is made of yarn which is loosely spun to create a woolen fabric according to the level and degrees of fineness and weight. Moreover, flannel is commonly used to refer to the clothing which is made of flannelette. Flannelette is a woven cloth made of combined synthetic fiber and wool, or combined cotton and wool that can be either light weight or medium weight.

- Silk is made of natural fibers rich in protein woven in the form of textiles. It comes from the silkworm larvae's cocoon nurtured in captivity. This material can be very expensive because of its shimmering appearance. The silk cloth has the ability to refract the light penetrating on it at various angles because it has the ability similar to a triangular prism.

- Satin is woven using a warp dominated technique creating the fabric interlacing. The cloth's surface is glossy while its back is dull. Typically, the word satin refers to a fabric made of filament fibers which include silk, polyester, or nylon formed using the satin weave technique. The satin weave is more appropriately used in making fine clothing and evening wears. This became the most favorite material in making pajamas.

Now, there are other materials used for manufacturing pajamas besides these three major fibers. It includes linen, lace, acrylic, cashmere, chiffon, denim, crepe, fleece, down, leather, jersey, rayon, and micro fiber.
